My night
Spent all night recording guitar and completely rewriting a song. Working titles:that kid was me,all we are(which is better?)
It started out with a messed up kid With four grey walls he was surrounded Spent all day long trying to find his place And finally he found an escape
So then this kid he found a girl Not knowing that she would change his world Only to turn it upside down Just another kid lost in the crowd
But all he knew was he knew nothin at all He built it up then he just watched it fall And now he’s giving up everything he’s ever known For a brand new place a place he can call his own
Cause all he was, was a shell of who he’d use to be Broken down yea that kid was me Cause all we are, are shells of who we want to be Just messed up kids looking for our destiny
